Food Grade
Solution
For years we have been working with food
printing solutions, designed especially for printing Bakery
Products such as Pastries, Breads, Donuts, Biscuits,
etc.....
The solution is applied using a food grade stamp. Using Edible
Advertising's Food Printing Solution you can simply stamp an
unbaked dough product with your desired text or graphic and
bake as usual.
But now....
We are currently working on releasing a high speed, high resolution printer.
The Printer can be placed over existing process lines, which
opens up many new options.
Personalisation....
Now you can you personalise products with whatever your
customer requires, in bulk.
Tracking....
But it also takes product Tracking and Traceability to a new
and exciting level, as the attached photo shows.
Each product can now be traced using a simple batch number or
code, printed directly on to the product.
This number or code can then be used to tell the full history
of the product such as time and date produced, the silos
ingredients came from, the vats yeast and oils came from, the
production line the product was produced on, etc.
Example Scenario:
A wholesale bakery producing 40,000 loaves an hour, with a
daily production of 500,000 units, has a contaminated batch
of flour in silo number 2.
At 2:30pm the factory starts using silo no.2, producing
120,000 loaves of bread from that silo and the bread is
dispatched into shops and sold to the public before the
contaminated flour is identified.
Instead of recalling the whole 500,000 loaves from that
day’s production, they only have to recall the loaves
with the effected batch number. Even if the packaging has
been removed the public will still be able to identify the
contaminated product by the Batch Number stamped on the
loaf.
Result: Big Savings
It is our opinion that this is the most economical way to
truly identify the history of a product and eliminate all
packaging variables. This results in better customer
satisfaction and big savings for you the producer.
